I 3D printed this Liara and tried out several materials (with the head) to see how much better the ultra detail material is. As you can see, the transparent head is much more smooth and richer in detail.

I'll be using the Christmas holiday to paint the model.

(Height with head is about 18cm or 7.09in)

The weapon she will be holding is the Talon M-358 which I made a few months ago and a render can be seen here. [link] This weapon is also being prepared to be 3d printed on a 1:1 scale (becoming a prop).

I send the models to Shapeways to be printed. Those $1200 3D printers you can buy for home use are simple too inaccurate and very rough.

my friend has a maker bot and has re equipped with better parts what chance is there that we could get a pic of your bot?...or conversly a link to the liara model you made.
